WATCH BOOK TRAILER:

My new book The Small Giant and trailer is out now!

After a long month I have finished the book trailer for my new book The Small Giant. It’s something very special, and I took great care to stay true to the emotional impact and flow of the book. In fact, the trailer touches me emotionally in much the same way as the book, and represents the The Small Giant well.

I have yet to present The Small Giant to book publishers. I’m still looking for the “right one”. I have found two or three that seem to be a great fit for my book, and so I plan to send them a copy of the manuscript.

Create a clock from a picture book

Here is a fun way to add some interest to those boring walls!

Gather a few of your favorite picture books and convert them into appealing clocks to hang on your walls.

If you have a favorite picture book laying around, maybe you can try making a picture book clock…then of course replace the picture book with a fresh new copy.

Have fun.

How to bind your own Hardback Book

Some of you may know that I am illustrating a children’s picture book that i wrote a few years ago.

It’s well on its way and although I will be seeking out publishers for my book, I thought it would be really fun to print it out and bind a hardback myself.

I’m excited to do it, and when I finish with the illustrations I will bind the book and post some great photos of the process and the finished product.

For now, if you’re interested in binding your own hardback book then you may want to take a look at this website.

The instructions are good and I’ll be using them as my source for the process.

Happy binding!
